Treat and prevent callused hands while weight training.

Treat and prevent callused hands while weight training.

Every weight trainer out there has had a callus on their hands. It’s just something that comes with the territory. Repetitive friction is one of the main causes of the painful gross hand (and eye) sores that you may often struggle with if you workout without your fitness gloves on. If you’re dealing with some gnarly calluses on your hands right now-- we suggest trying a good hand soak for about 10 minutes followed by rubbing with a pumice stone. That may not work for really severe cases and you should always play it safe and ask your Doc if it is something that is becoming a big problem. We would also suggest getting those puppies under control before scheduling a date.

One thing that always helps a callus-prone weight trainer is to have some hand moisturizing cream handy as well because if you have callused hands they are probably very thirsty as well. Whether you’re new to weight training or threw with callused hands-- there is a preventative measure you can take now to prevent all of the future pain and embarrassment of callused hands by simply using one of our specially designed callus guard fitness gloves!
